About these terms

These terms apply to your use of wanile.com (the “website”), which is run by Wanile Technologies, Lahore, Pakistan (“Wanile”, “we”, “us”). By using the website, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the website.

These terms cover the website only. When we work with you, a separate written agreement covers that work. If that agreement and these terms ever disagree, the agreement wins. How we handle personal data is explained in our privacy policy and cookie policy.

Using the website

You're welcome to read the website, share links to it and contact us through it. When you use it, you agree not to:

• use it in any way that breaks the law, or for anything fraudulent or harmful;
• try to get unauthorised access to the website, its server or the services it connects to, or test them for weaknesses without our written permission (if you find a security problem, please tell us at abdullah@wanile.ai);
• disrupt or overload the website, for example with heavy automated requests;
• send spam, malware, or false or misleading information through the contact form or the booking tool, or pretend to be someone else;
• copy the website's content or design to make a site that could be confused with ours.

No professional advice

Everything on the website, including our field notes, case studies and answers to common questions, is general information about our work and about engineering. It is not legal, financial, security or technical advice for your situation, and you shouldn't rely on it as if it were. Before acting on anything you read here, check that it fits your circumstances, and ask us or another qualified adviser if you need to.

We work to keep the website accurate and up to date, but we don't promise that it is complete, correct or current at all times.

Our services, prices and the free trial

What the website says about our services, such as how quickly an engineer can start, when you'll see profiles, the 7-day free trial, month-to-month terms and any prices, describes how we usually work. It is not an offer that becomes a contract when you accept it. Work starts only once we have both agreed it in writing, and the written terms then decide the details, including what the free trial covers. Which engineers are available changes over time.

Case studies, reviews and results

Case studies, client videos and reviews describe particular projects. Results are the ones clients reported, and we label where they come from. They show what happened on those projects, not a promise of the same results for you.

Client names, logos and products shown on the website belong to their owners. We show them to describe work we have done, not to suggest that their owners endorse anything else.

Intellectual property

The website and its content (text, design, graphics, photos, videos and code), and the Wanile name and logo, belong to Wanile Technologies or to the people who licensed them to us.

You may view and print pages for your own reference, share links to them, and quote short passages with a link back to the page. Apart from that, please don't copy, republish, sell or otherwise use the website's content, or our name and logo, without our written permission.

What you send us

When you send us a note, book a call or email us, please make sure what you send is accurate and that you are allowed to share it. Please don't send confidential information, source code, passwords or access keys through the website: we sign an NDA before we see anything confidential, and we'll ask for access through accounts you control. We handle what you send as our privacy policy describes.

Links to other websites

The website links to, and in places embeds, other services, such as Calendly, YouTube, Clutch, LinkedIn and our clients' websites. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, their availability or how they handle your data. Their own terms and policies apply. A link is not an endorsement.

Changes and availability

We may change, pause or remove any part of the website at any time, without notice. We don't promise that the website will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors, and we may restrict access to it, for example while we fix or improve it.

Our liability

The website is free to use and is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows:

• we give no promises or guarantees about the website or its content, other than those in these terms;
• we are not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the website, from not being able to use it, or from relying on its content. This includes loss of profit, revenue, business, data or goodwill, and any indirect or consequential loss;
• we are not liable for viruses or other harmful material that reach your device through the website or a site it links to, so please use your own protection.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you use the website as a consumer, these terms don't affect your legal rights as a consumer. Our liability for work we do for you is set by our written agreement, not by these terms.

Governing law

These terms, and any dispute about them or the website, are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Lahore have jurisdiction. If you live in the UK or the EU and use the website as a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.

If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce one of these terms straight away, we can still enforce it later.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you use the website after a change, the updated terms apply.
